Amarilis - alumna IGHere is a comment from a graduate of the 12 course DPM program: Sharing about her 12 month experience as an IG student, Amarilis said: “I can say without a doubt that part of the great changes God brought about in my personal and ministerial life is owed to the influence of an excellent collection of professors who crossed over the impersonal barrier of cyber space [internet] – and little by little one comes to feel they are your friends and people who one appreciates and admires.  I hold them in very high esteem, because thanks to them and the vision of InterGlobal, I now have the tools to better carry out the tasks which the Lord has given me.” –Amarilis Flores; Puerto Rico. April 13, 2010.

A teacher applying for our eLearning teacher-training series, commented: “As a professor in a Bible institute, we are planning to offer internet classes in the future, so I am interested in learning this – as it is an indispensable tool and I am grateful to God that you offer it.” –Manuel; Aug27, 2009 (Mexico)

In applying for a class: “I really want to know more about the Word of God and prepare myself in the necessary aspects to better serve in the work of God.” –Ramírez; Aug25, 2009 (Costa Rica).

Another student says, “I have a group of leaders that assist me in the mission and I would like to initiate a study.” -Letty; re:BIB250; Aug28, 2009 (USA)

A church leader in Colombia registered today for the class, How To Interpret the Bible (BIB250). On our online form, answering why she wanted to take this class, 34 year old Yohana said, “Because I want to have a clear understanding and good interpretation of the Bible. Also, because in my church I am in charge of the 'school of discipleship'. But overall - for my personal growth.” -Yohana (Aug 1/2009).

¨...my desire is to learn what is necessary to contribute to education in the church, using the new technologies to make training and education accessible - something the Church so needs for its continued formation and for its diverse ministries.¨ -an APE.020 student. May-2009

When asked about the quality of the IG internet teaching she experienced at IG, one student, who is almost ready to graduate with the IG diploma in Practical Ministry training, (the 12 course DPM series) commented:

¨Wow... I think IG is a very good tool. The cost is a gift and whoever does not take advantage of this tool should give account to God. There is no reason not to use it and prepare oneself for ministry. The time is flexible, the cost is minimal and the teaching is so thorough – it is like what others pay thousands of dollars for to get credit. Believe me, my husband [a pastor] completed a masters and a doctorate, paid thousands of dollars - and I think I am better prepared than he is, as far as the material that I have learned here.¨ -Amarilis (Puerto Rico) March-2009

After taking the counseling class, EL ACONSEJAR 1, another IG student said,

¨It has really surprised me how much goes on unseen in counseling. The importance of a good counselor is incredible – how he/she can edify the counselee and those around them or cause failure and all kinds of bad decisions. It is incredibly important for a healthy church to have men and women filled with the Spirit of God who can with wisdom guide, orient, listen to, and give answers to the counselee. This really makes a huge difference.¨-Rina I. (USA) April-2009

“I am learning heaps... thanks to you, professor and Grizelle for teaching us in such a clear and pleasant manner.. it helps me correct my errors... the comments of my companions are incredibly interesting... I am very enthused.” -Teresita (March/2009; CON201)

“When I taught High School, my classes were no smaller than 35-40 students and I had 10 classes each week. In the university I taught Judo as a sports activity and each class was 50-60 students and I had 8 classes. Entering class required total preparation. But I did not feel as tremendously emotion-filled as I did today entering my IG class because I know it is for my King – that He be glorified.” -Jaime Mayorga (Costa Rica) April-2009

THE CLASS I wish to take: MIS101-Global Impact

Register me in the following program: Diploma en Practical Ministries

Why do you want to take this class? I want to have a better knowledge of the Word and related subjects – so that every day I will be able to more effectively exercise the ministry that God in His mercy has given me as pastor.  -USA 1/14/2008

THE CLASS I wish to take: BIB110. Homiletics

Register me in the following program: Diploma en Practical Ministries

Why do you want to take this class? To deepen my study of the Bible and be able to share with those who do not understand it.  These days we need to be part of the solution and not part of the problem.  We need to change people with the message of Jesus Christ, changing the person on the inside.  We are changing our society. -USA 1/13/2008

…My desire is to know the Bible better and be able to lead many people to a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.  Nowadays we need to be guided by the Word of God in order to fulfill the Grand Commission. -USA  1/13/2008

Thank you, prof… You do not know how happy I am to have gotten a good grade in this class [BIB250. How To Interpret The Bible].  It’s just that usually I’m not that good in classes like this.  The abstract concepts are very difficult for me to capture.  But the assignments helped me make personal application from the texts.  At first I didn’t think I was learning anything, but then it surprised me when I began sharing a few things from class with my husband (as if I really was learning!) and later I had the opportunity to preach in church – and upon presenting the Word I definitely felt more sure of myself after having completed a better exegesis of the text than I ever had done previously.  I think I was able to present a more complete teaching.  In general, several times I felt short on time with the class – but it has been a real good learning experience.  I am eager to continue the next classes.  Thanks again.  -Puerto Rico  12/30/2007

As always …I very much appreciate and am blessed by your teaching and all the support of InterGlobal. -Jaime; Costa Rica  12/30/2007
